The Messenger of God (blessings upon him and his family) said: "Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim." Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) counted the ink of scholars as superior to the blood of martyrs, because knowledge gives life to hearts and guidance to nations.
